Dolan Dental has faithfully served the community since it’s founding by Dr. Thomas Dolan in 1982. With a reputation for genuine relationships and predictable results, smiles shaped by Dolan Dental span generations and fill the neighborhoods of Wethersfield. Dr. Brendan Dolan joined his father in 2015 with a desire to create a state-of-the-art smile center with a full menu of treatments, but still focused on relationship dentistry. Now with Dr. G. on the team, patients get to experience the same people-focused care with all the advancements modern dentistry has to offer.

Backstory
Inspired by the wonderful way his dad treated people, Dr. Dolan eventually chose to follow in his father’s footsteps, after a few adventures. A graduate of The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, he set off to Emory University in Atlanta for college. He majored in Latin American & Caribbean Studies, and after graduation he headed to Brazil to teach English and music. While there he also learned Portuguese.

Personal Life
He loves his family, including his wife, Yasmeen, his Dad, two sisters, three nephews, and his niece! He’s passionate about music: singing and playing guitar in a band called "Man Hands" (rock and pop covers). He’s also on the board of directors of The Vineyard Sound, which is an a cappella group on Martha's Vineyard. (He sang there during college for three summers, touring around with 9 other buddies, harmonizing and singing private shows, and public shows.)
Dental School
Back home, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at VA Health in Long Beach, CA.
Serving Others
Dr. Dolan founded and runs Advocates for Careers in Technology and Science (ACTS), a virtual career mentoring program for underprivileged high-school students that takes place virtually during the winter and spring season.

Dental Education
Dr. Riley Gionfriddo (Dr. G.) earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Connecticut Dental School. She went on to complete a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her residency, she pursued advanced training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Experience
After years of serving patients in the Boston area, Dr. G. returned to her home state of Connecticut to be part of the Dolan Dental team. She has become an essential part of the community and the practice, beloved by patients and team members alike.
Personal Life
As a mom to four kids – Arlo, Conan, Sully, and Cedric, she loves spending time outdoors with them and their Bernedoodle. She also enjoys arts, crafts, and baking/cooking with her kids.
